The following people were booked Monday, Dec. 8 into the Highlands County Jail:

Darren David Cheatham, 18, of 1304 Lucas Drive, Sebring, on a charge of possession of a weapon or ammo by a convicted Florida felon.

Bert Glenn Crawford, 30, N. Lakeview Road, Lake Placid, on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of a weapon or ammo by a convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kynsha Lavon Kelly, 20, of 106 Montego Drive, Sebring, on charges of aggravated battery and trespassing.

Zachary Wayne Korzep, 25, of 1601 Chatsworth Drive, Lake Placid, was sentenced to 24 months concurrent in state prison for violation of probation in reference to grand theft of a motor vehicle, fleeing/eluding and leaving the scene of an accident with injury.
