Music Planned For AP Mall Monday

AVON PARK --

Holiday music will fill the air for Christmas on the Mall, starting at 6 p.m., Monday, Dec. 8, in front of the Hotel Jacaranda.

David Flowers will act as emcee while several local chorus groups sing holiday tunes.

David Greenslade of the Avon Park Chamber of Commerce is excited to showcase so much local talent at one time.

Music will be performed live by Avon, Park and Memorial Elementary schools, the Avon Park Middle School Jazz Band and Chorus, the Baptist Church Choir, the Avon Park High School Chorus and the Sweet Adelines.

Greenslade said that limited bleacher seating will be available and encouraged music lovers to bring chairs. Food concessions from the chamber benefit Relay for Life.
