Sophomore Matt Grubb completed 13 of 24 passes for 216 yards and four touchdowns in his varsity debut to lead Sebring to a 40-6 preseason victory over Tenoroc in the Titans' first game as a program.
Senior tailback Daniel Burnett had 24 carries for 120 yards and a touchdown and sophomore wide receiver Devin Clarke had five receptions for 64 yards and two touchdowns.
Grubb threw for two scores in the first half, including a 53-yard strike to senior wide receiver JC Howard to give the Blue Streaks a 20-6 halftime lead.
The Sebring quarterback then threw for two more touchdowns in the second half, highlighted by a 24-yard toss to Clarke to seal the win.
Tenoroc senior Ervin Day had 56 yards on 15 carries and scored the Titans' lone touchdown on a 27-yard scamper late in the second half.
