The next city council meeting will be held in a larger venue, just in case a large crowd shows up.
The Aug. 19 Sebring City Council meeting, set for 6:30 p.m., will be held in the 260-seat Highlands County Commissioners boardroom. The Sebring City Council chambers holds 87.
"We're going to have a public hearing on the fire assessment," said City Clerk Kathy Haley. "We're not necessarily expecting a large crowd, but we want to be prepared."
