In Friday's Highlands Today (Aug. 1) you published a picture of three American flags hanging on a wall of the new Memorial Elementary School.
These flags were hanging with the Field of Stars on the right, which according to flag etiquette the Field of Stars should be on the left, if hung as these were.
I hope this will be corrected and our schools will teach our children proper flag etiquette.
