In response to this past Sunday's Associated Press article (Sept. 23) in the Highlands Today business pages, headlined "Furniture Sales Slipping." May I take this opportunity to share that Sofa Gallery Inc.'s sales are quite good.

We attend the national furniture markets semi-annually and will be at the world famous High Point Market in October.
It has always been interesting when the media runs depressing "business is bad" articles, relating to a given industry and then the sales folks show up wanting to sell ads. In this case no mention was made that media rates have increased.
We offer direct purchase pricing and have exclusive representation for three of the nation's top brand manufacturers. Our furniture may be seen in three locations here in Highlands County.
