We are taught by our elders that anything we speak, think or make is our creation. When we make something with our hands, whether it's a meal, a drawing, a sculpture, a building plan, a written story, a toy, a fence, a poem or a song. The attitude we have at the time that we create those things will show forever.
A song may sound happy, but if it is written while the person is too busy, then it won't flow for the listener. If a meal is thrown together and the love isn't there, then the meal won't be as nourishing. If you are angry and resentful when you build a fence, the job may be filled with problems and the fence may hinder relationships with your neighbors.
Every attitude is invested into our creations. If one fears that the product one has made to sell will not be appreciated, that same fear will keep one's clients away. If we change our attitudes and create everything from joy, this happiness allows our creations to touch the lives of others in a positive way, making the mission of our creations exactly what they were supposed to do, to bring bounty, beauty and the good feeling of a job well done.
