What is Make A Difference Day? It is a very important day for our men and women in the services. It is an annual event when the VFW Ladies Auxiliary host an event to raise money to be used for them.
This year the Auxiliary will be having a brown-bag auction, and the proceeds will be given to Joseph Dionne, our Highlands County service officer, who will be there to answer your questions. The guest speaker will be Tom Macklin.

A swiss steak dinner will be served on Oct. 21 from 4-6 p.m. for $6. Immediately after, the brown bag auction will start, which is open to members and guests. Please come and give your support to our service men and women. Remember to write this date on your calendar (a gift will be placed in a brown bag and the auctioneer will ask for a bid on the bag.)
