I don't like what Congress is doing with Social Security and Medicare. Whenever they want a raise, Congress allows it when no one is around.
Now this year, Congress took $4,000 out of Social Security and Medicare so that they can get a raise. People pay their taxes to put into Medicare and Social Security, so why should Congress always take it out of there? We put them in there to help the American people, who needs the money for Medicare. Then Congress takes it back out for the $4,000 raise that each of them get. That would be enough to have our taxes paid by the government every year.
This Medicare Part D card is not worth the paper it is written on. What does it pay? Only what Congress wants it to. If it were they who were using the card, they would not stand for it.
Medicare is going up every year, this is why we cannot get ahead anymore. And how is it that Congress came to the people that put them into office for a year, and then they only work for four months?
It is like all our jobs going over to China, where they pay their help 8 cents an hour, and then we the taxpayer pays for shipping it over here. Why doesn't Congress do something about that for the American people. China did not put them into office, we did!
