I am writing in regard to the article that appeared in the newspaper of Sept. 29 titled "Feline folks aid stray cats." The article states they have them neutered and then they set them free. Well feline folks, may I ask "Why aren't you de-clawing them also?"

There are 200,000 free-roaming cats that climb trees and make a meal of a nest of baby birds. Wake up Sun City Center, don't you have any bird loving and counting people in your area? Not many weeks ago, I remember reading an article in this same newspaper titled "Where have all the birds gone to?"
