SEBRING - Two men and a woman were taken to area hospitals after a three-vehicle crash at Orange Boulevard and U.S. 27, near the Raceway gas station in Sebring.
At about 5:20 p.m., Florida Highway Patrol troopers were still investigating the crash, which happened about 4:02 p.m. Tuesday.
Lake Placid Town Attorney Bert Harris was not injured, when the his Dodge Ram pickup truck was hit by a black Chevrolet Avalanche. The Avalanche had been involved in a crash in the northbound lane seconds earlier by a maroon Lincoln Continental.
Harris said he almost avoided the crash, but was clipped in the southbound lane and his truck spun sideways in the grass hitting a road sign.
