SEBRING -- The My School Preschool and Child Development Center will be relocating its daycare to Living Waters Church of God starting Monday, said owner Jennifer Lipowski. A fire Tuesday at the daycare's original location caused the relocation.
Lipowski had run the business at 1002 Persimmon Ave. in Sebring for the last 10 years. The cause of the fire could likely be electrical in nature, said Mike Roberts, deputy chief of Sebring Fire and Rescue, in an interview Wednesday.
A story that ran Thursday in the Highlands Today incorrectly stated that parents will have to find alternative accommodation. That is not the case.
Also, parents who need to get in touch with Lipowski, should call 385-1239. The story had an incorrect phone number.
