Thank You

The Highlands Art League would like to thank our sponsors for their continued support and contributions. An event as large as the festival would not be possible without community support, and we appreciate all our community does for us. Our title sponsor this year was Mid Florida Credit Union.

Our Friday night activities were underwritten by the city of Sebring CRA with Golden Palms Catering Company providing all the food for the weekend activities at the Yellow House. We have been able to count on them for their support for the past four years. The Florida Mentor, Dr. and Mrs. Pigman, and Happy Owl teamed together to be our Community Street Sponsors. Progress Energy came back and sponsored Children's Street this year. Crutchfield and Sons joined them to provide for the Children's Fest Tent. The children were able to make small crafts for free, thanks to them.

Highlands Independent Bank was featured on Culinary Street. Florida Hospital sponsored the HAL artists' tent, where our local artists displayed their work. South Florida Community College, Heartland National Bank and Country Club Realty had beautiful banners on the lampposts around the Circle. We extend special mention and a great deal of thanks to Gentle Foot Care, NCT Group and Wicks Brown and Williams for their continued support.

On a personal note, I would like to say how much I appreciate my husband, Tim, and stepfather, Mike, and all my children who pitched in where they were needed most. My street chairs, I truly could not have done it without them, Goldie, Gloria, Rosemarie, Lynda, Mitzi, Lori, Michelle, Sandy, Susan, Meredeth and Maggie. The HAL office staff went above and beyond following up with all the paperwork. The volunteers are so vitally important to planning and executing such a large project. I feel blessed with the weather, the cooperation of all involved and the end result. All my prayers were answered.

One more thank-you to the downtown merchants, who were great hosts to our out-of-town vendors. Downtown Sebring is one of the friendliest cities and I know we represented our community well.
