I would like to recognize a person who has devoted herself to enriching the lives of the special needs members of our community who participated Nov. 10 in the Ridge Area ARC Special Starrs, Track, Field and Cycling Games. Cindy Marshall is her name.

Cindy is a volunteer coordinator of the Special Starrs program. Special Starrs calendar events are throughout the year. Cindy is amazing, she's always the spark of energy, treats every person equally, knows all the participants by their first name and is constantly encouraging each and every athlete.

People like Cindy are a true inspiration. Thanks Cindy.
