I'm having trouble with this Iran thing because the United States has no troops, no support, no friends, no credibility, no money, and very likely, no honest-sane justification for an invasion.
All of the imported fighters hail from Saudi Arabia and come in through Syria, but we seem OK with that. I just can't grasp the logic. Sometimes an analogy helps bring clarity.
Say, a man from Saudi Arabia drives a car filled with explosives through Syria into Iraq where he blows up himself and 20 others, including an American G.I.
An Army investigation determines that without the car the operation would not have been successful. Furthermore, forensic evidence proves conclusively that the car was a Volkswagen, a well-known German car.
To retaliate and prevent similar attacks, we threaten to invade Germany for supplying weapons to the enemy.
I still don't buy it.
