Veterans' Tribute

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Nov. 11 is a day to remember. All Americans everywhere should proclaim Veterans Day (formerly known as Armistice Day) and should be willing to rededicate themselves to the cause of peace.

Please stop what you are doing and give a moment of your time to say thanks, and ask God to bless all the veterans. It will give you a great feeling of gratitude and pride to think that you took the time to honor our veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces. They have given so much for the love of their country and for our freedoms that we enjoy daily. Some are still paying for a debt we can never repay, for without their sacrifices, this country would not be a great place for us to live in. Remember, freedom is not free. Let us Americans never forget what it cost to preserve our freedom.

Our fathers, brothers, sons and friends are fighting for their survival every day, and we thank them for their courage and unselfish sacrifices in the defense of our country.

So let us pause, and remember and say thank you to all veterans and service men and women, wherever they are, for what they are doing and have done to make this country a great place for you and me to live.
