4 candidates seek 2 seats on school board

SEBRING - Voters will decide who fills two seats on the School Board of Highlands County with two candidates running for each seat.Published: August 8, 2010
Ronnie Jackson and Olivia Scott are vying for the District 4 seat, which covers the greater Avon Park area. Wally Randall, who currently holds the seat, is not seeking re-election.
In District 1, which covers the greater Lake Placid area and southern Highlands County, incumbent Richard Norris faces challenger William (Bill) Brantley.
The school board election is non-partisan and is voted countywide, which means the District 1 and District 4 races will be on all ballots in the county and will be decided in the primary election on Aug. 24.
