Harder Hall title on the line

SEBRING - The 58th Harder Hall Women's Invitational will be decided in today's final round with 17 players within eight shots of second round co-leaders Erica Popson and Mika Liu.

Results from Saturday's third round of the four-day tournament were not available at press time.

Tee times begin at 8 a.m. today, with the leaders going off around noon at Harder Hall Country Club.

Popson, a senior on the University of Tennessee women's golf team, had rounds of 71-70-141, while the 13-year-old Liu shot 66-75-141.

Hannah Pietila and Ashlan Ramsey were tied at 143, JiaXin Yang was at 144, Kelsey MacDonald was at 145 and Rinko Mitsunaga and Amy Ruengmateekhun were tied at 146.

Amira Alexander, Cindy Yueer Feng and Samantha Gotcher were at 147. Nicole Angello, 2011 Harder Hall champion Ashleigh Albrecht, Eilidh Briggs and Amanda Steinhagen were within striking distance at 148.

In the First Flight, Ali Cowan, Laura Hendee and 2010 Harder Hall champion Kyle Roig were tied for first with a score of 156 after the first two rounds.

Betsie Johnson was at 157 and Gabriella DiMarco, Annie Dulmna, Minami Levonowich, Hanna McCook and Libby Thomas were at 158.

In the Second Flight, Elizabeth Haines, Anna Hancock, Megan Moir, Ashley Rose and Emily Rymer were tied for first with a score of 162.

Sandra Jackson led the Third Flight with a 169, Avon Park' Paige Moffat and Jean Mowry were tied at 170, while Maria Marino and Barbara Pagana were at 171.

Evelyn Blackmon leads the Fourth Flight with a 176, Mhairi McKay was at 177 and Claire Serruto was in with a 180.

There is no charge to attend today's final round, and spectators are invited to come out and watch some of the best women amateur golfers in the world compete for the coveted Harder Hall Invitational title.
