SEBRING --- A Fort Pierce woman was arrested Monday after taking her two children from Sebring to her home in Fort Pierce, without permission of the father, who had custody, according to a Highlands County Sheriff's Office press release.

Lisa Lyons was arrested by Fort Pierce police and charged with violation of an injunction, the sheriff's office said.

Authorities found the two children, Christopher Ramos, 15 and Christian Ramos, 12, unharmed at the mother's house, the press release said. After police arrested Lyons, the two children were taken to the Fort Pierce Police Department, where the father picked them up. An amber alert was issued following the abduction.
