SEBRING – A Sebring woman was arrested Feb. 25 after a stolen trailer from Scottsboro, Ala., showed up at a salvage business in Sebring, according to an arrest warrant.

Amber Lynn Davidson, 27, 1430 Rainbow Ave., Sebring, was arrested by the Highlands County Sheriff's Office and charged with providing false verification of ownership to a second-hand dealer and dealing in stolen property.

The arrest came after Highlands County deputies received information from the Scottsboro Police Department that the trailer might be at the salvage business, the report said.

Subsequently, the trailer was located at the business, the warrant said, adding that the owner in Alabama said he never sold the trailer, valued at $3,000, or gave anyone else permission to sell it.

The warrant accused Davidson of telling the salvage business that the trailer belonged to her. She received about $97 for it, the warrant said.
