Two suspects charged with burglary

AVON PARK Two men were arrested Thursday in connection with the Dec. 8 burglary of an Avon Park residence, according to arrest reports released Friday.Published: January 25, 2013
Tramel Dashawn Horton, 27, 4015 Ponce De Leon Blvd., Sebring and Terry Lee Jones, 41, 127 N. Glenwood Ave., Avon Park, were arrested and charged with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling and third-degree grand theft.
The investigation leading to the arrest after authorities questioned the suspects following a second burglary on Dec. 12.
The victim in the first burglary had reported that someone broke into his Avon Park residence and stole a television, a driver's license, a green card, $400 in cash, a wallet, an alarm clock and other items.
Bond was set at $10,000 for Horton and $5,000 for Jones. Neither had posted bond as of press time.
