Three arrested in connection with home invasion robbery

LAKE PLACID - After what authorities described as a lengthy investigation, three men have been charged in connection with a home invasion robbery Oct. 23 at 403 Tahiti Lane in Lake Placid.Published: January 7, 2013
One of the three suspects, Christopher Kenon, 18, of 1680 N. Delaware Ave., Avon Park, is already in custody in connection with a recent robbery reported at Pizza Hut in Sebring.
The other two, Adarius Hollinger and Antonio Jefferson, were booked Friday and remain in Highlands County Jail on no bond.
According to the Highlands County Sheriff's Office, two of the three accosted the victim as he was preparing to leave his home.
The two restrained him, removed the jewelry he was wearing and led him back into the house, a media release adds.
The third suspect then went into the house, the media release adds, and the three men removed more jewelry and televisions from the home, fleeing in the truck of the victim, who was left restrained in the house. The victim was able to free himself, call 911 and deputies responded to the scene.
Kenon; Hollinger, 20, of 111 Stephanie Lane, Sebring; and Jefferson, 20, of 4415 Alcanterra Ave., Sebring; have been charged with armed robbery, armed burglary and armed kidnapping in this case.
"Detectives continue to put pieces together that may connect these suspects to other robberies in the area," the news release adds.
