SEBRING A search of a home for a suspect was apparently unsuccessful, but deputies did not leave empty handed, an arrest report said.

Kevin Hall, 50, 3419 Baxter Road, Sebring, was arrested March 1 by the Highlands County Sheriff's Office and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of 20 grams or less of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The arrest came after Hall allowed deputies, who were looking for someone else, to search the residence, the arrest report said.

Deputies found marijuana and pipes with methamphetamine residue, among other items, the report said.

Hall was being held in the Highlands County jail on $2,000 bond as of press time.
