Polk County murder suspect arrested Friday near Sebring

A Polk County man suspected of participating in the murder of his sister's boyfriend last year was arrested Feb. 22 in Highlands County, according to an affidavit released Monday.Published: February 25, 2013
Charles Warren Pandolfo, 19, 3778 Huntwicke Blvd., Davenport, was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Jose Manuel Santos, also of 3778 Huntwicke Blvd., Davenport, the affidavit stated.
The arrest was not long after a grand jury indicted Pandolfo, according to the Polk County Sheriff's office.
A friend of a second suspect said that the suspect told him that he and Pandolfo murdered Santos because he was abusive to Pandolfo's sister.
