LAKE PLACID A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle Friday night after stepping onto U.S. 27 at Aaron Drive.Published: January 19, 2013
According to Lake Placid Police, the Hispanic male, who carried no identification, stepped off the median on U.S. 27 at about 9:12 p.m. when a vehicle in the southbound lane hit him.
Police were still trying to determine the victim's name and next of kin at press time. Lake Placid Police worked the accident scene.
