Sounds of the Season, a Christmas celebration, is returning to Highlands County. This holiday musical revue is hosted by Unity in the Community.

This year's show will feature musical group NLight, which just returned this spring with an all-new show.

The group has been in rehearsal since August. Traditional Christmas music, both secular and sacred, will be presented.

Sounds of the Season will be presented at Unity Life Enrichment Centre, 10417 S. Orange Blossom Blvd., Sebring, on Dec. 1 at 2:30 p.m. and again at 6 p.m. The venue has limited seating for both shows. Tickets are $10 each.

Reservations for all performances can be reserved by calling The Centre Box office at 863-471-1122 or by emailing Unity@vistanet.net

No credit cards can be accepted. State performance time, location and callback number when calling or emailing ticket orders.

NLight will also offer a performance at Union Congregational Church, 106 N. Butler Ave. Sunday, Dec. 16 at 7:15 p.m. in the main sanctuary.

Tickets for the Avon Park performance are also available for $10 each by calling Union Congregational's church office at (863) 453-3345 or by calling The Centre Box Office (863) 471-1122

NLight members are Beverly Kautz, Nelly Guzman-Ford, Tracy Pollard-Schucknecht, Sharon Cornine, David Flowers, Carl Gillilan and Andrew Conyer.

The group has performed together for more than 15 years after Kautz decided to bring together "some of the best voices in our area to perform uplifting, positive music with outstanding harmony and energy," a news release states.

"There has never been a year where people did not contact us to see if the show was returning," said Conyer, who is the show's producer. "After much introspection, we have finally decided to bring back the holiday musical revue in a streamlined form."

For more information contact Andrew Conyer at (863) 471-1122.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to help support relief efforts for those recovering from Hurricane Sandy.
