Car hits back of school bus

LAKE PLACID - No one was injured Wednesday when a vehicle struck the back of a school bus at 7:15 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 29 and U.S. 27, a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol said.Published: February 20, 2013
The school bus, driven by Lottie Bullard, 64, of Lake Placid, was pulling onto U.S. 27, but stopped because of traffic, the press release said. Richard Orton, 48, of Lake Placid, the driver of the other vehicle, did not notice the bus had stopped and struck the rear of it, the report said.
