With childhood obesity rates on the rise and a newfound desire to foster and maintain a healthy lifestyle for both children and adults, it's important to find a way to make exercise fun and engaging. Physical education expert Len Saunders has just the solution to this difficult challenge.
May 7, 2008 marks the 20th anniversary of Len Saunders' Project ACES. The event unites millions of children from the United States and beyond who are going to exercise simultaneously to promote healthier lifestyles for children. ACES provides a great opportunity to get kids motivated about their health.
In celebration of it's 20th anniversary, Saunders is now introducing PACES Day. Take a break each Saturday to exercise as a family for 15-45 minutes. The program will be highlighted by the first annual national PACES Day on May 10, 2008, with hundreds of thousands of kids and their parents exercising together for a better, longer life.
