The following people were booked Thursday, Sept. 24 into the Highlands County Jail:

Robert Thomas Dumont, 59, of 675 Moon Ranch Road, Sebring, on a warrant charging two counts of grand theft of $20,000 or more but less than $100,000.

Lazaro Gonzalez Leon, 19, of Zolfo Springs, was recommitted and sentenced to 10 days in jail for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.

Marcus Anthony Malcomb, 36, of 1000 Hal McRae Blvd., Avon Park, on warrants charging failure to appear on charges of tampering with physical evidence and possession of marijuana.

Amy Renee Parker, 30, of 3718 Rushlo St., Sebring, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine.

Joshua Lee Smith, 19, of Wauchula, on DeSoto County warrants charging two counts each of uttering a forged instrument and grand theft.

Vincent Joseph Tripoli, 46, of 310 Blanco Court, Avon Park, was sentenced to 60 days in jail for driving while license is suspended, first offense.
