The following people were booked Monday, Sept. 21 into the Highlands County Jail:

Clinton Ray Howard, 26, of Zolfo Springs, was recommitted and sentenced to 30 days in jail for stalking.

Sanjay Oratio Johnson, 24, of 4829 Sago Palm Drive, Sebring, on charges of fleeing/eluding police, possession of a weapon or ammo by a convicted felon and trafficking in marijuana in excess of 25 pounds.

Milagros Rodriguez, 50, of 169 Cumberland St., Lake Placid, on a St. Lucie County warrant charging violation of probation in reference to possession of a controlled substance.

John Lee Walker, 54, of 916 S. Verona Ave., Avon Park, on charges of grand theft of $300 or more but less than $5,000, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cocaine and burglary of an unoccupied conveyance while unarmed.

John Allen Yohe, 39, of 7589 Horse Hammock Road, Avon Park, was recommitted and sentenced to 60 days in jail for possession of methamphetamine.

The following people were booked Tuesday, Sept. 22 into the Highlands County Jail:

Ronnie Eugene Hall, 42, of Bowling Green, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to failure to appear.

Albert Carl Jenkins, 29, of Dundee, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to driving while license is suspended or revoked.

Jeffrey Todd Mitten, 48, of Avon Park, on a charge of cruelty toward a child without great harm.

Rhiannon Claire Steele, 18, of on a charge of battery and battery on a person 65 years of age or older.

Robert Steven Swank, 37, of 5821 Thunder Road, Sebring, on charges of fleeing/eluding, aggravated battery on an officer and assault on an officer.
