Get your lawn chairs out and head down to the Sebring Circle.

The Heartland Idol contest is in full swing. There is no contest this Thursday, Sept. 24, but will resume Oct. 1 at 6 p.m.

You have plenty of time to get your time in order to be there; join the fun, as well as have your blood pressure go a few points higher when you don't agree with the judges.

Although there are times I don't think they have been watching the same contestant I have, I sure would not want their job.

There are snacks, meal-type foods, soft drinks and sweets to be bought. There are old friends to see, or new friends to meet, fun to be had.

So come on down for some good clean family fun.

Some of you who have been to Heartland Idol over the years should write in your viewpoints. The ones who haven't been coming need to hear from you.
