State Rep. Baxter Troutman and state Rep. Denise Grimsley have to be in the insurance lobbyists' back pocket. The article in Sunday's paper on the unregulated insurance is a complete joke.
The governor vetoed the original bill, because he could see through all the bull. Now that he has got his sights set on the U.S. Senate, the insurance companies are licking their chops to be able to bypass the regulators of the insurance commission. If it wasn't for the commission the citizens of the state would really be in trouble.
If you legislators are allowed to push another bill for unregulated insurance through this time around you can expect your insurance costs to go out of control. Remember these two state representatives gave us the increased licensing fees. The old bull about you will be able to buy cheaper insurance in an unregulated market is just that. It's about smoke and mirrors.
As far as I'm concerned we don't need neither of these two back in the state Legislature when they're up for re-election. For that matter we should not reelect any incumbent. What do you think?
