Dance Club opens new season
SEBRING - The Highlands Social Dance Club opens the 2009-2010 season, hosting ballroom dancing tonight from 7- 9:30 at the Sebring Lions Club on Sebring Parkway.
Music will be provided by the big band sound of The Golden Era.
All club dances are open to the public. Appropriate dress is required.
Admission is $5 for members and $7 for non-members.

SATURDAY
Libraries offer free movies
SEBRING - The three public libraries in Highlands County will be showing free movies Sept. 19. They begin at 2 p.m.
The schedule includes "Hairspray" at Lake Placid, 205 W. Interlake Blvd.; "Blow Out" at Avon Park, 100 N. Museum Ave.; and "Secondhand Lions" at Sebring, 319 W. Center Ave.
Dance slated at Tanglewood
SEBRING - Tanglewood will be hosting a dance from 7 -10 p.m. Sept. 19 at its clubhouse, located just north of the Sebring Walmart on U.S. 27.
Don and Allen will be providing the music.
The cost is $3 for residents with a name badge and $5 for all others.
