Saturday Morning Market slated in LP
LAKE PLACID - The Lake Placid Saturday Morning Market will be held from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. Sept. 12 at Stuart Park, which is located at the corner of Interlake and Pine.
There will be fresh produce, live plants and silks, homemade breads, pottery, food, jewelry, candles and arts and crafts.
Reno to play at pub in Hardee
ONA - TJ Reno of Avon Park will be performing from 1 - 5 p.m. Sept. 12 at Charlotte's Web Pub, located at 3315 S.R. 64 W., in Ona.
There will be barbecue/specials all day.
Libraries showing free movies
SEBRING - Free movies will be shown at the three public libraries in Highlands County on Sept. 12. They begin at 2 p.m.
The schedule includes "No Reservations" in Lake Placid, 205 W. Interlake Blvd., "What's Up, Doc?" in Avon Park, 100 N. Museum Ave. and "Space Buddies" in Sebring, 319 W. Center Ave.
