Reference to an article in the Highlands Today on Sept. 2; Palm residents laugh, listen and bond, Philip Gulley and his latest book "I Love You, Miss Huddleston." Harmony, Ind. Is not fictitious but is a small town located three miles east of Brazil, Ind., on old U.S. 40.
I have passed through there many times on the way to Indianapolis and further east. As I recall there was (or still is) a stop light there to slow the East and West traffic down, otherwise you might miss Harmony.
If you want to see a quaint small town, visit New Harmony, Ind. Plan on having a meal there and stay overnight also, you will be glad you did. New Harmony is located about 28 miles N.W. of Evansville, Ind., where Indiana state roads 66 and 69 meet. It is at the Wabash River with Illinois on the west side of the Wabash River, if in the area its well worth the trip.
