The following people were booked Wednesday, Oct. 28 into the Highlands County Jail:
Devin Scott Bailey, 26, of 1803 Rainbow Ave., Sebring, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for petty theft.
James Randall Beagles, 55, of Sebring, on charges of battery and obstructing justice.
Ismael Alejandro Brambila, 20, of 5436 Ponce De Leon Blvd., Sebring, was sentenced to 20 days in jail for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.
Evelio Rodriguez Eutimo, 44, of Ruskin, was recommitted and sentenced to 150 days in jail for driving while license is suspended, second offense.
Chad Anthony Lewis, 31, of 210 Fred Connor St., Avon Park, on warrants charging grand theft of a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
Timothy Wayne Morris, 37, of 55 Alice Nelson, Avon Park, was recommitted and sentenced to 30 days in jail for driving while license is suspended, second offense.
Tara Charline Weeks, 23, of Orlando, on warrants charging violation of probation in reference to tampering with physical evidence and possession of methamphetamine.
Dennis Lee Whalen, 64, of Sebring, was recommitted and sentenced to 60 days in jail for battery.
The following people were booked Thursday, Oct. 29 into the Highlands County Jail:
Robert Michael Albaugh, of 319 Nichelle Blvd., Lake Placid, on Marion County warrants charging driving while license is suspended with serious bodily injury and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI) with serious bodily injury.
Armando Basulto, 68, of Jacksonville, on warrants charging grand theft of $100,000 or more, executing a scheme to defraud on a financial institution and grand theft of $20,000 or more.
Randy Mathis, 21, of Sebring, on a charge of burglary with assault or battery.
Alexander Poole, 34, of Wauchula, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to driving while license is suspended or revoked.
Derry Lakeith Starkey, 24, of 128 Crestmore Drive, Lake Placid, on charges of possession of cocaine and destroying evidence.
