Is ABC's 'Wife Swap' filming in Sebring?

Marc Valero, Highlands Today

This house in Orange Blossom Estates may be the home of a family being filmed for an episode of ABC TV's Wife Swap reality program. A woman who emerged from the RV said "this is a closed set," and that there would be an opportunity to see filming in public areas later in the week in Sebring. She would not specify where or when the filming would take place.

SEBRING - Is ABC filming the reality TV show "Wife Swap" in Sebring?

There is no official confirmation but a rented RV with video equipment alongside was seen parked in front of a home on Loquat Road, off of Golfview Road.

A woman who emerged from the RV said "this is a closed set," and that there were confidentiality agreements.

She said there would be opportunities later in the week to see what was going on when taping would occur in public areas in town. She would not elaborate.

"Wife Swap" profiles two families with very different values who live through a two-week challenge when two wives exchange husbands, children and lives (but not bedrooms) to discover what it's like to live another woman's life, according to the show's Web site.

The show premiered in 2003 in the United Kingdom. The U.S. version on ABC debuted in 2004.
