German precedent

Published: October 28, 2009

Germany 1930-'39. Brown-shirt storm troopers stifle dissent from the religious and the media.

Read or see "The Coming of the Third Reich" by R. Evans. Fast forward to America 2009 under its new administration; all staff members told to go on attack mode against Fox News.

All other news outlets have access to the administration, unless, of course, they report anything discriminatory, except Fox News.

Ladies and gentlemen, are you sensing some similarities? A smart, smooth, silver-tongue fox is in the hen-house and the first hen that cackles becomes dinner.

Most Germans in the '30s thought their new political voice was a passing fancy, but it became a tyrannical, political force and civilian institutions of one kind and another crumbled.

Look to history everyone. In Germany, it started with a beer-hall putsch. Today it might be the attempt to muzzle Fox News.
