BackStage Pass to play at Watering Hole

SEBRING - BackStage Pass will be at the Watering Hole in Sebring today and Oct. 24 from 9:30 p.m. till 1:45 a.m.

Live bands at Sunset Grille

SEBRING - There will be live bands playing this weekend at the Sunset Grille, 2650 U.S. 27. S., in Sebring.

Playback will be there tonight and Oct. 25, while Ransom will be playing Oct. 24.

Dance Club to feature Gary Filip & Friends

SEBRING - The Highlands Social Dance Club hosts ballroom dancing on Friday, Oct. 23 from 7-9:30 p.m. at the Sebring Lions Club on Sebring Parkway.

Music will be provided by Gary Filip & Friends

All club dances are open to the public. Appropriate dress is required.

Admission is $5 for members and $7 for non-members.

Terror Trail still open

SEBRING - The Highlands County Humane Society's Terror Trail will continue today from 7:30 - 10 p.m. and Oct. 24 at its location on Haywood Taylor Boulevard near Sebring Regional Airport.

The cost is $7 per person.

Fall Festival planned at Henscratch Farms

LAKE PLACID - Henscratch Farms Vineyard and Winery, 980 Henscratch Road, will host the third annual Fall Festival from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Oct. 24.

There will be food, hayrides and pony rides.

A costume contest is planned with prizes being awarded for first, second and third place.

Free movies scheduled at libraries

SEBRING - Free movies will be shown Oct. 24 at Highlands County public libraries. They begin at 2 p.m.

The schedule includes: "New in Town" at Lake Placid Memorial Library, 205 W. Interlake Blvd.; "Meet Me in St. Louis" at Avon Park, 100 N. Museum Ave.; "National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets" at Sebring, 319 W. Center Ave.

Summer concert series at Tanglewood

SEBRING - Tanglewood will be holding the last of the summer concert series for 2009, with the doors and snack bar opening at 6 p.m. and the show starting at 7 p.m. on Oct. 24. Tanglewood is across from the Holiday Inn Express on U.S. 27 in Sebring.

The final show will be Renaissance.

Tickets will be available at the door.
