I was absolutely appalled when I read in Highlands Today that our county judges have the right to okay an abortion for a minor child without any knowledge of the abortion made to the child's parents.

Sorry, but in my opinion this is not the job of the judges or any other government employee, no matter how compassionate they may be. Parents may be devastated by the news that their child is pregnant, but these same parents will wrap their loving arms around their pregnant child and give her the love and support she needs to help her through this.

It sounds as though word of this "easy fix" has gotten around the neighborhood and I believe these judges will be flooded with more and more easy abortions. By the way, who is paying the bill?

Childless couples in America today have to go to foreign countries to adopt the unwanted children of those nations. Here in America we simply exterminate them through abortion with such an easy solution; why worry about the next time pregnancy occurs?

We may no longer be a nation under God, but we are still under His judgment.
