SEBRING - The Tanglewood Golf Association fundraiser golf tournament for Heartland Christian School was a big hit on Saturday at Harder Hall Country Club.
The four-person scramble, 18-hole event attracted 76 players and the team of Lonnie Wells, Wade Carter, Larry Bush and Dennis Rutledge finished first with a 16-under-par 56.
Coming in second place with a 59 was the team of James Goins, Jimmy Goins, Leon Williams and Ryan Williams, after they won a match of cards with the foursome of Eric Zwayer, Kevin Roberts, Clint Zwayer and Tom Zwayer.
Finishing fourth was the talented team of Matt Doughnay, Steve Marquant, Tim Cribb and Ferland Cribb with a 60, while Lance Allison, Bobby Ore, Mike Kirsch and Lou Stryker came in fifth with a 61.
The foursome of John Beatrice, Bob Rock, Neil Maclean and Ron Kressel came in sixth with a fine score of 64.
