Wow! Who says there is nothing to do in the Heartland? Last week was a busy week. First we started out with the Florida Flywheeler's 14th annual fall fuel up. Then there are not enough words to praise the Highlands Little Theatre's production of "Fiddler on the Roof," it was just terrific.
Saturday the Sebring Circle was host to the monthly antique cars; Saturday evening the Heartland Idol had its finale. The talent was so great that most of us sitting in our lawn chairs were glad we did not have to try to judge these performances.
Sunday afternoon St. John Methodist Church on Grand Prix Drive had the Heartland Pops premiere performance, playing some of the best known and loved patriotic songs. This newly formed Pops group put on a spectacular program with only half a dozen practices. The talent in the Heartland is just amazing.
