The Fort Hood massacre was a real shocker, but the greater shock was the fact that the powers that be, as it has been disclosed, were aware of this individual, his Islamic connections and his pronouncements against America. Yet nothing was done because "he didn't look like a terrorist." What a ridiculous statement.

This incident by a radicalized Muslin U.S. Army officer, screaming "Allahu Akbar", was the worst terrorist act since 9-11. Yet no one will call it as such or associate it with Islam. This tells me that we are real cowards. It was this cowardice and political correctness that killed the victims at Fort Hood.

This was a terrorist act against unarmed soldiers and really a protest against our efforts to counter Islamic fanaticism.

The Army high command is so disgusted with political correctness they tend to pander to these American "haters" as it is safer than calling them terrorists.

Major Hansan planned and executed this tragic massacre in cold blood. The second tragedy is that Hansan wasn't killed on the spot. His lawyers will probably claim insanity due to harassment and there will be endless delays of trials. An Army tribunal wouldn't dare carry out the death penalty, because they are afraid of discrimination charges in the conduct of protected minorities.

We read in the news that Hansan is already a "hero" to Islamic terrorists abroad. Probably to local sympathizers, also, the latter keeping their feelings hidden.

Twelve soldiers are dead, 31 wounded, 28 seriously. If heads in the Army chain of command don't roll on this incident, the Army will have shamed itself beyond moral redemption.
