Republican Party

Published: November 1, 2009

Whenever I read or hear scare tactics used in the press or letters to the editor, I can easily identify the contributor to the Republican Party. I'm observing their reluctance, or inability to get over their hold on the reins of government leadership. More recently I have noticed they have used their cumulative wealth (or what's left of it) to even encourage public speaking for their Tea Party members. This Tea Party movement was encouraged by Fox TV for their own "entertainment." Yes folks, it is not a coincidence that Fox TV is called "entertainment" instead of a news station.

During Busch's presidency, no similar mass effort was made by the Democratic Party out of respect of the presidential office. U.S. citizens should be more conservative of voicing their political opinions. They should make problems and concerns known to Congressional and Senate leaders through the proper channels such as e-mail, phone and mail addresses. This way voices are heard to the U.S. Government and not around the world.

Making fun without restraint of a current political leader who, don't forget, won the election by the majority vote is only a reflection of mass paranoia (such as Hitler had.) President Obama is addressing issues that he promised he would during his election campaign. Although they are tough issues, they are long overdue. He should be shown support for his courage to address these necessary basic issues.
