This letter is to inform the readers as to the Gallop Poll's most recent findings on the pro life-pro choice positions. The findings in the poll say that the pro life position is held by 51 percent of its respondents as opposed to 44 percent of its respondents who hold the pro choice position. I submit that this indicates more and more citizens of this great nation are awakening to the horror of abortion on demand.

Of further information is the fact that Duncan Hunter, Baptist and Republican Congressman from the liberal state of California, has introduced the "Life Begins at Conception" act into the 111th Congress, as he has done in previous congresses. The bill has, at last count, 109 co-sponsors with, hopefully more signatures coming forth.

If this legislation passes in the House and a like companion bill introduced in the U.S. Senate passes it would spell the end of Roe vs. Wade since the now named "fetus" would in fact be a person and as such be guaranteed life by the 14th Amendment to the U.S Constitution.

There is then hope. Let's all write our congressmen and senators and ask their support for this most important legislation.
