Training is needed

I am somewhat dismayed by the recent letter concerning "loud aircraft."

I also hear the aircraft but instead of being bothered by it, my wife and I enjoy the sound.

The sound of the aircrafts indicates that our military is being trained. Training in a safe zone helps to enable the members of our military to perform their missions and return safely from the combat zones.

Both my wife and I are military veterans and we understand the need for training.

Those folks who find the loud aircraft annoying should take solace in the fact that there are men and women willing to train for long hours day and night to help keep our country and the countries of our allies safe.
