SEBRING - Lampe and Kiefer announce that its staff has completed an advanced training course in Minneapolis, Minn., and can now fit a brand new hearing aid technology - Starkey's S Series with Drive Architecture.
According to a press release, the staff learned the latest techniques in hearing aid fitting, testing and patient counseling.
"Historically, hearing aids whistled and could not differentiate speech from other background noise," said Roseann Kiefer with Lampe and Kiefer. "S Series takes the hearing aid to a whole new level - from eliminating feedback to providing the best performance in noisy situations and allowing wearers to use the phone comfortably.
In addition the hearing aids are sleek, stylish and nearly invisible when worn," she added.
The release stated that S Series with Drive Architecture uses multi-core processing, similar to technology in computers, to provide three times more power than previous technology for the best performance.
