Speaker of the House

Does the Speaker of the House in the U.S. Congress serve for life? If so, this country is in dire circumstances. Surely her party, the Democrats, must be embarrassed by this woman and her pronouncements.
It is evident that she cannot get over her Bush hating. By trying to get at some of his administration on this "torture" business she has made a public fool of herself. She changes her story everyday and now says the CIA is lying. In a way I can understand this. I do not think she has the mental proclivity to understand what is being told to her.
Not only is she delaying the governing process, but the most nerve shattering thing is she is second in the line of progression to be president. With people of this caliber in our government, this country is headed for disaster.
