I wish to thank John Booth for giving me a pleasant chuckle this morning to start out my day! I'm glad I have provided him with entertainment with my "uniformed comments on just about everything," along with the comics. I have never before been called an ignoramus in such a gentle way, thank you very kindly.
I don't know where the center of the universe is and I don't suppose anyone else does either. It is interesting to note that astronomers tell us the heavenly bodies are all rushing away from us at great speed; is that because they are all afraid of the catastrophe mankind is about to inflict upon the universe, or did the "big bang" take place in our back yard, in a manner of speaking?
As to the Earth being flatter than a pancake, when I step outside, I don't see any mountains in sight and as I watch the horizon I see things disappearing! Are they falling off the edge of the "pancake?" The only thing is, most of them seem to come back! That's incredible! Thanks again John!
