SEBRING - The Sebring Police Department is continuing its search for a man who was first reported missing on May 4.
Officers went to Douglas Place Apartments in Sebring after receiving information about a missing person. David Young was last seen on April 26 by his roommate, according to the SPD. He does not own a vehicle and reportedly visits the Sebring Public Library, City Pier Beach and the downtown area.
Police say Young has been battling substance abuse and may be endangered. Several area canvasses indicate the man has been seen in downtown Sebring over the past two weeks.
Young has been entered into national databases as a missing and possibly endangered adult.
Anyone with information on Young's whereabouts is asked to contact investigator Michael Hirsch with the SPD at (863) 381-1178.
